Hello, I'm Nick Porterfield.

I’m a Columbus, OH-based dad passionate about creativity, geek culture, and family. Happily married to my high school sweetheart, Caitlin, we’re raising our daughter Amelia and our cranky corgi, Zoey.

As a freelance portrait photographer, I specialize in personal portraits, cosplay photography, and covering Tabletop RPG events. Photography allows me to connect with people and tell their stories, especially those with little experience in front of the camera. I love helping them break out of their shells and embrace their unique selves through my lens.

My goal is to inspire others to embrace their passions, whether it’s capturing a first-time portrait, an epic cosplay, or the excitement of a tabletop event.

When I’m not behind the camera, I’m spending time with my family, exploring creative projects, or enjoying my geeky hobbies. Everyone has a story, and I’m here to help you tell yours.
